I found this watch through Kickstarter and thought the styling was excellent. I was very pleased when the option to upgrade to the ETA 2824 movement became available as this is among my favorite movements. I received the watch a couple of days ago and I like it even more than I was expecting. This is a very well made watch with excellent styling. Per another review on here, the lume is not the focal point of this watch, but I’m old enough that it would take a lot of lume for me to actually read a watch at night anyway. I often find that excess lume is used to make up for lack of innovative style, which this watch doesn’t lack at all. I don’t usually get compliments on watches, but this one got a random compliment the first day I wore it! I almost went with one of the colored models, but there’s something so classic about the silver. I was very pleasantly surprised to discover that the bracelet that came on this watch also has a micro adjustment feature. I also love the orange hands that contrast strongly against the more subtle dial.
If I had to pick on thing to change on this watch, I might polish the front of the bezel, but I appreciate that the sides of the bezel are polished.
Overall fabulous design and quality build. This one gets an A+ from me and it’ll be seeing a lot of wrist time.

Lume is disapointing

I have been eagerly awaiting my TimeMaster 70s and it delivers - it is very slim, well-proportioned, with a perfect mid century modern dial style. The orange hands provide an great pop of color to contrast with the black and silver dial and steel case and bracelet. The tool-less micro-adjustment mechanism on the bracelet clasp is great for adjusting the fit throughout the day, and means that everyone can size this watch to fit just right. The entire design language of this watch is consistent with the retro theme, and flows together very well. The yellow display back glass is a nice retro touch as well, and the miyota 9 series movement is always a welcome, reliable workhorse movement that keeps good time. This watch has a strong and unique identity amidst so many watch models out there and is a welcome addition to my collection!
It’s been a long wait, but it’s finally here!! I ordered the Timemaster 70 with the optional ETA 2824 automatic movement. I couldn’t be happier. It looks so retro and it is of high quality. So happy with my purchase.
